If your smart watch can be connected with Google Fit or Apple Health (whether you use Android or OS phone), then steps from smart watch go to FitSphere. Additionally, check that Fit app has all the necessary permissions. If Google Fit app is tracking steps then make sure that you’ve logged into Google Fit with the same Google account you gave access in FitSphere app.

This in turn could result in a slightly different steps result than you’ll see on the upper part of the FitSphere app home page. You don’t have to use activity tracking function nor set a personal goal for your steps to go for challenges’ progress.
